Worst purchase ever!

I have to use 2 bottles because my hair is almost to my waist. I usually use Light Brown but this last time I used Golden Light Brown and I still have gray roots! I left it on for 30 minutes like I always do and after washing out the color I looked the next day and still saw gray roots! The bottom part of my hair is brown but I'm not happy. AT $20.00 everytime I color my hair I expect it to cover the gray! I'm on a fixed income and $20.00 my not seem like alot to some people but for me it's alot. I can't afford to go to the salon to get this fixed so I'll have to buy another brand and hope it matches the rest of my hair. So long Clairol we had a good run but sadly it's come to an end.

Nice n Easy Foam is a horrible product

I've never took the time to review a product before now. I have been coloring my hair for 10 years, and never have I used such a poor product. Not only did it turn my dark blonde hair red, but my hair is like straw, after using both conditioning treatments back to back. Not only that, the gray around my temples is still there. Am actually going to drive to the Walmart I purchased it at and get a refund of the $7.99 it cost me tomorrow, and buy a deep conditioner that will hopefully keep the ensuing breakage down. Should be removed from the shelves immediately!

I Smell Like a Camp Fire!

I am pleased with the foam BUT am so not pleased with the smell. I smell like wood smoke and the hubby asked if there was a fire somewhere. And...it stains skin worse than any haircolor I've ever used.

Terrible Experience

I actually tried it twice. The first time the foam got everywhere and seemed to not stay mixed, plus the color didn't last as long as usual.
I tried again and made sure I shook it forever, still runny and kept un-mixing - 3 weeks later I'm looking for a root touch up because it didn't work as well as the original cream. Don't bother, stick with the original. (& I just found out my shade is discontinued) :-(

Going back to regular nice and easy

I have been using Nice 'n easy at home for 15 years and I decided to try the new foam. It was not a good experience. It was hard to control where the foam went and the consistency of the foam was not what I expected. I used a shade that I usually use, but it was way darker than normal and I ended up having to put it all over my head to even it out. With the traditional nice 'n easy, this has never been an issue. So I will have to go back to that.

Easiest Hair Color to Apply

The new foam hair color is the easiest hair color to apply, just make sure you apply evenly and it turns out perfect. Not only is it easy but the color last on me much longer than any other color I have ever tried. I don't have to reapply for at least six to eight weeks. The longest I have gone is three months but that is pushing it just a little. My hair color was even all over with highlights. Just remember it is a foam and you put it on gently don't apply it heavy handed as it will splat out, Hopefully you will give it a try and be open minded. I LOVE IT.

Forget the Foam!

I've been a loyal Clairol home color user for over 18 years, using Natural Instincts and then Nice 'n easy. They have never failed to give me good results, up until now! I bought the light ash brown foam color, I applied it, and boy am I disappointed. The foam is not a firm foam like you'd expect, no matter how long you shake the bottle. The application by squeezing it up and out of the bottle gives you little control and applying it to your hair is a bit awkward. The color was so dark on the lower half of my hair, that's even after only combing it through the final few minutes like I already do for Nice 'n easy. The color is very dark on the bottom, dull, with no highlights. I will not be buying this again, even if it goes on clearance, which it soon should be, as I can't imagine experienced users buying this product a second time. Go back to the drawing board Clairol!
